We walked through the centre of town, through the markets full of fresh foods, fruits, meats, cheese and traditional cooked foods. On to the lake, then the Schloss building (currently a University campus administration building) and grounds; behind the Schloss into the Botanic Gardens and then along the Promenade which circles the town. We ended up in town for a late lunch, wandered the shops for a while then home for a little siesta.
Had a celebratory drink tonight with Carolin. She has been waiting on the marks for her thesis for her Masters in Psychology - the result came through today and it is a mark ranging from 1 to 7 with 1 being the best mark. Good news - she achieved a 1 and was a very happy girl after 6 years of study. She already has a job in Bochum (about an hour from Munster) as a Research Assistant at the University and will be starting her Doctorate as part of this research.
Had a very quiet tea and into bed early for a trip to Bochum tomorrow to check out the new city for Luke and Carolin.

fanatics in the 1500s',
they hung the bodies in cages hanging in the tower.

The actual cages the bodies were hung in for months as a lesson to any other aspiring fanatics. |
