Our little car

Great little car, a 5 speed diesel Lancia La Musa Ego with plenty of room, sometimes a bit big for the Italian roads!!!  Lancia is an Italian car maker founded in 1906 by Vincenzo Lancia and became part of the Fiat Group in 1969. Fiat also own and make Ferrari and Maserati so it was almost like driving a sports car – you understand I know!!!!

We did 5,230 kilometres

Traveled through 288 tunnels for a total underground of 140 kilometres

and paid 118 euro in tolls 

and all without a scratch through some of the most challenging driving known.  Palermo was the bench mark - a bit like white water rafting - you have some control but everything and everybody else can make a complete fool of you.  It's been fun - just ask Pam!!!
